"summer time summer time sum-sum-summer time..."it's summer and we are in our favorite place. pawley's island, sc. we will spend a couple of great family vacations here with friends we have chosen to call family. a few weeks of sun, sand, body surfing, shrimp boils, roman candle wars (yes. i said roman candle wars). these trips always mark the end of the season.
FLASH FORWARD september 3, 2012
the official end of summer. time to put up the swimsuits and tanning lotion. time to put away those white shoes and slacks. okay. seriously? who wears that stuff anyway? it's time for football. and cool evenings around fires. it's time for pumpkin ales and apple cider. best of all...only 54 shopping days til halloween!!!
